Paul Andes started photographing in the 1970's beginning with his Nikon F2 cameras. Originally his interest was focused in landscape photography of the Sierra Nevada's, Lake Tahoe and Northern California areas. Shortly thereafter, he entered college and studied photography at Yuba College taking classes starting with Black / White and progressing into advanced courses, lab and studio work. While in school he took an internship with the local newspaper The Appeal Democrat, giving him the opportunity to photograph professional sports teams such as the Sacramento Kings. Eventually moving to Montana with his wife Julie, daughter Alexandra, and son Austin, Paul enjoys the outdoor photography opportunities near his home as well as Glacier National and Yellowstone National Parks. Paul and Julie own and operate American Vision Photography.
